Our Mission:

To recognize what we owe our military defenders by offering a gift that lets them show their own appreciation to those they care about most. The gift is a Singing Valentine, delivered by a barbershop quartet to the special person in the service member's life. Success will be indicated by the number of military families we touch, but the actual value in emotional well-being and morale is immeasurable.

Who we are:

We are an informal team of volunteers collaborating in the Military Singing Valentine program. Our role falls into several categories:

• SINGERS are members of a cappella communities who are expressing their respect for our military families by delivering Singing Valentines each year

• Our SPONSORS are existing charitable organizations dedicated to supporting military families, who extend the Valentine offer to the soldiers, veterans and their families

• The OPERATIONS team is a revolving group of volunteers who spend time during the year organizing and communicating with the other volunteers; when February arrives, they ensure that incoming Valentine requests are routed to a responsible Singer group.

• Our GUIDANCE team consists of highly experienced supporters who provide advice, information and assistance , to ensure smooth implementation of the program into the future

What we do:

• We work through established military charities (sponsors) who offer the free Valentine to the families they work with.

• Those soldiers or spouses who accept the offer call us, and we ask for the general location

• Our Dispatch team contacts groups in the area, looking for volunteer singers

• The singing group (usually a quartet) reaches out to the contact to schedule the singing Valentine

To see what that is check out this description of a Singing Valentine.

We have no budget and never solicit or accepts donations, everything happens through the efforts of volunteers whose aim is to give a little back to those members of the US Army, Navy, Marine Corp, Air Force, Coast Guard and Space Force who defend our country.
